Straight router bits are your essential multipurpose router bit that every woodworker’s kit requires. The perfect router bit for trimming, plunge routing, mortising and tenoning. Great for machining tongue and groove joinery, grooving and rabbeting. You can also use your Torquata straight bit for inlay and decorative work. Suitable for use in either a handheld router or router table.

Features

Torquata straight bits feature a CNC milled one piece body with 92Rc fine industrial grade carbide. Cutters are fixed via superior silver induction brazing. The routers bits are finished with a liquid black non-stick coating. The straight bits employ a universal anti-kickback design. They are CNC balanced and polished.

Performance

All Torquata straight bits are twin-fluted for a smooth chip free finished edge. The end of each router bit features two sharpened edges to allow short plunge cuts. Torquata router bits may be resharpened repeatedly for a long and productive working life. Please note. The end cutters on both sides do not overlap. This is to allow of clean waste removal when plunging. This means that these router bits are not designed specifically in CNC machines. Please use a Torquata spiral bit for CNC plunge cuts.
