The SWDP-38016-BVS is powered by a three-phase motor that generates more torque than the equivalent single-phase motor. And the Variable Frequency Drive means that the output torque is constant throughout the speed range, allowing you to make the same cuts but at higher speeds and higher feed rates – delivering a finer finish and more efficient workflow.

On the high-speed belt setting, the speed is electronically controlled between 0 and 3000rpm. Switch to the low-speed setting to gear the whole machine down and quadruple the torque! Ideal for powering massive Forstners with high feed rates, or for drilling into metals.
