SUEHIRO Curved Edge Sharpening Waterstones for Carving Tools
These SUEHIRO curved edge waterstone is ideal for sharpening all sorts of curved and rounded carving tools in particular gouges. The surface of these stones is curved on both the inner and outer edges so both surfaces of the tool may be sharpened. The stones are also tapered so to suit carving tools of all sizes. These waterstones are very hard so the shape of the profile is maintained in the stone. Included with the stone is an eraser to keep the stone clean from filings produced when sharpening.

These SUEHIO curved waterstones are available in three useful grits. 280 grit for removing nicks and chips from tool steels quickly and easily. 1000 grit for sharpening and 4000 grit for honing. About waterstones
Waterstones require water to function, so soak your waterstone in water before use. Water will penetrate the stone matrix and help to form a ‘sharpening slurry’ as the stone wears during use. It’s ok to allow your stone to dry out when not in use.
