xTool’s S1 laser cutter is the world’s first fully enclosed 40W diode laser system. With interchangeable laser heads, generous workpiece capacity and advanced intelligence, it is the ideal machine for the craftperson who is looking to add laser precision to their repertoire.

Powerful Cutting

Effortlessly slice through materials up to 18mm thick in a single pass with the 40W laser head, capable of reaching speeds up to a blazing 600mm/s. The xTool S1 has a working area of 498 x 319mm with a depth capacity of 42mm. Eliminate the need for an additional machine by effortlessly switching the laser head.

Pin-point Positioning: Next-Level Precision

The revolutionary S1 Pin-point Positioning technology is 10 times more accurate than single-camera systems. Pin-point Positioning provides real time positioning data relative to the X and Y coordinates of the actual laser head movements which are then represented precisely in the software screen.

XCS Software

The S1 is controlled with the easy-to-use XCS app, which can be installed on PC, Mac, iOS and Android devices. XCS software makes it straightforward to control the cutting parameters to achieve perfect results, every time. With 400 pre-set parameters, AI drawing capabilities, and Snapshot & Batch fill to automate bulk processing, there’s no more testing and wasting materials to get the desired engraving results.

Safety Features

The S1’s eye-friendly lid filters blue and IR lasers making for clear viewing without special goggles. Once operation begins, the lid automatically locks until the work is completed or paused. If the machine is moved rapidly or forcefully struck, it will automatically cease operation. And an emergency cut-off switch delivers an extra layer of safety, should you ever need it.

Infrared Laser Head

The standard diode laserheads are unable to process metals like silver, gold, copper or raw aluminium. With the addition of the 1064nm Infrared Laserhead, the S1 can engrave on all metal surfaces in fine detail, with less damage to the surrounding area. This means even the most complex designs are engraved with deep detail, producing crisp and clean marks every time. Swapping the laserheads in the S1 is simple and quick, allowing you to optimise the machine for your next job in a matter of minutes.  

Honeycomb Panel

The honeycomb structure and 5mm anti-slip pads facilitate air circulation and aid in less temperature carbonization and better smoke diffusion. The four included magnetic material pins help to secure your material firmly to the panel for precise alignment. Side reference measurements in both metric and imperial allow for quick material placement and precise cutting.
