Double edge hook knife for spoon carving.
The most important thing when it comes to woodcarving is a sharp blade! Without, this creative experience can become irritating and dangerous. A sharp knife will set you on the right path straight away.
The MoraKniv 163 has a double-edged 70mm stainless steel blade for use in both pull and push carving. The blade features more open curve making it suitable for making clean surface cuts on bowls with a large radius.
The blade has been optimised to make it run more smoothly over the inside of the spoon or bowl. The improved edge bevels complete the blade giving you the finest carving experience.
NOTE FROM MANUFACTURER:
"Any rust that is formed on the blade is because of the soft iron at the side of the blade and the higher content of carbon in the steel that is used. The soft laminated steel is highly desirable for woodworking, and Morakniv are the only company that produce it."
