Sash clamps are the go to for many woodworkers, however, one of their flaws is their weight. Sash clamps can quickly become heavy and cumbersome when they get long. These sash clamps are a fraction of the weight of the steel ones.

These clamps are notched on the back to allow for a solid positive stop for the clamp. This allows for a solid anchor point for the sliding part of the clamp to lock into.

Made from solid aluminium extrusion, these clamps do trade clamp pressure capacity for a dramatic weight reduction. These are ideal for people looking for clamps to use for assembly where heavy clamps could cause a piece to be pulled out of alignment. 

Being aluminum these sash clamps are far less chemically reactive. No more rusty sash clamps in the shed to stain you workpieces.

80kg of clamping pressure is more then adequate for light duty work such as simple glue ups where there is not a need for a great deal of pressure. 

Please Note: Over tightening these clamps may result in the clamp face pieces breaking.

Manual Handling Surcharge (Overlength Item)

Any item that measures over 1.5m once packaged cannot be sent through automatic freight sortation machines and must be handled manually by freight companies. For items 1.5 - 2.0m long there is a surcharge of $7.50 and for items 2.0m and longer there is a surcharge of $17.50 charged by the freight company to manually handle this freight. Timbecon passes this charge on at cost. If you choose Pickup or Click N Collect then there is no extra charge on your order for handling these over length items to prepare your order.
