A heavy-duty hand mitre saw now with 18TPI Japanese tooth blades as standard!

This 550mm model takes picture framing and cornering, moulding and other mitre-box projects to the next level. It has an ergonomically designed handle that cops the brunt of the action, a new-and-improved design that has clearly sunk some hours into during the design process.

More than that, the construction is blow-moulded which vastly increases the overall strength, meaning this saw is stacked for tough workshop conditions. We didn't actually find the size to be cumbersome when we were cutting mouldings, so we can confidently recommend this for a wide variety of applications - but it is a hefty saw, so keep that in mind.

Features

The blow-moulded plastic saw carriage swings right and left up to 45º for simple mitre cuts with stops built in at the popular 15°, 22.5°, 30°, 36°, 45° and 90°. It includes a two-way clamp for holding the material in place securely with an integral length stop to ensure uniform work piece length, maintaining parallel squareness of the frame. Quality Taiwanese construction for smooth cutting and long life.
