Torquata Dowel Making Jig 8-20mm Diameter for use with Handheld Drills

Eligible for FREE Shipping*

Torquata’s Dowel Making Jig allows you to create dowels from 8mm to 20mm in diameter from any kind of timber. Perfectly-sized joinery dowels will guarantee you a tight fit every time. Dowels formed from decorative and contrasting timbers will add interest to your projects. It is the perfect jig for woodworkers of every kind.

Intuitive and easy to use, the Torquata Dowel Making Jig uses an indexed tungsten carbide cutter to shave stock down to the required size. The stock is driven through the jig by a hand-held drill (not included), so the jig needs to be secured to a workbench with the included mounting hardware.

The jig uses the same replaceable tungsten carbide cutters found in industrial planers. These cutters have four long-lasting cutting edges – simply rotate the cutter when one edge becomes dull, and voila! A fresh edge!

What's included?

  • 1x Dowel Making Jig
  • 1x Torx Wrench
  • 1x Allen Key
  • 3x Mounting Screws
