Shaper Tools 1/4in x 1in Up-Spiral Flat CNC Router Bit 1/4in Shank

The 1/4in x 1in Up-Spiral Bit has the same qualities as the Shaper 1/4in cutter—including carbide composition, dual flute geometry, and compatibility with Origin’s 1/4in collet—with the added benefit of a longer overall length and a longer cutting length for deeper passes and improved stability in deep cuts.

The Up-Spiral design pulls material up and out of your cuts. This can leave a little fuzz on the top edge of your material but this is easily removed with a quick rough-up with fine grit sandpaper. Adjacent spoilboards are always recommended when making cuts beyond the edge of your material.

The 1/4in Up-Spiral router bit can cut to a maximum depth of 1in, with cuts no deeper than 1/4in in a single pass
