A Belt and Disc sander is the fastest way to accurately shape and sand smaller parts. When fitted with 60 or 80 grit abrasive they remove material rapidly and make short work of shaping tasks in a variety of materials. With higher grit sandpaper they perform tricky finishing operations with ease.

Accurate

The cast-iron disc work table is flat, smooth and easy to adjust, allowing you to achieve specific angles on your workpiece with perfect repeatability. It features a 19mm mitre channel and mitre guide, delivering repeatable precision for batch jobs. The belt platen is flat and smooth, and the workstop will maintain the workpiece at 90 degrees in either horizontal or vertical modes.

Versatile

The SBD-610 can be used for a wide range of shaping jobs, including:

• Flattening small parts
• Smoothing outside curves
• Squaring end grain
• Cleaning up mitres
• Sanding inside curves

Rotating the belt from the horizontal position to the vertical position lets you square and trim end grain with stability. The 10in disc provides a large surface with varying abrasive speeds, perfect for fiddly jobs where you need to creep up to a pencil mark.

Clean

Sanding creates a huge amount of fine dust, making dust collection essential when using this machine. The extraction port on the SBD-610 is connected to snug-fitting manifolds, allowing you to direct the airflow to where it is needed most, minimising dust nuisance.
