Sherwood 20in Drum Sander with Cabinet Stand Thickness Sander 1500W 2HP Variable Speed

The Sherwood 20in Wide Drum Sander is a newly redesigned drum sander that not only looks the part, but also performs on a whole new level. 

With a 2HP motor this unit will not get bogged down on larger jobs. And a drum speed of 1400 RPM allows for rapid removal of material.

Mounted to a cabinet stand this sander is ready for any workshop. We have had it fitted with a digital depth guide to compliment the traditional needle guide.

The open design of the sander allows for a 500mm wide sanding capacity in a single pass and allows for 1000mm of capacity when you rotate your workpiece and feed it through the open side. 

Featuring a 130mm drum, this sander will last longer between paper changes as its area coverage is much larger than similar units.

Variable feed controls allow you to slow down or speed up the feed rate as necessary allowing you the user to dial in exactly what speed you want for the ultimate finish.

This unit can also be fitted with extended in-feed and out-feed tables giving you much more working space and assistance when feeding large pieces into it. Click here for the extension tables. 

The unit is also fitted with dual 100mm (4in) dust ports to allow for great dust extraction.
