Luban Set of 6 Bench Firmer Chisels with Wooden Box

This is a beautifully crafted set of bench chisels for general woodworking, featuring CRV (Chrome Vanadium) steel blades hardened to RC59-63 and bubinga handles.

The bevel edge tapers to virtually disapper at the cutting edge - a feature of a firmer chisel. These chisels are better suited for cutting out smaller mortices (but can't be used to lever out material) as well as performing better at general paring work as well - probably making the chisel and handle combination a better choice than the bevel edge set.

This set comes in a wooden box with 6mm, 10mm, 12mm, 16mm, 19mm and 25mm chisels.

Minimal final honing is required prior to use.
