Mirka Interface Pad for LEROS

Mirka’s interface pads are compatible with any hook-and-loop random orbital sander. The 3 mm thick multi hole interface pad is placed between your sander’s backing pad and the abrasive sanding disc. 

Sand Curved Surfaces

The soft foam of the Mirka interface disc matches the contours of the workpiece, making it easy to get clean, even results on complex surfaces. 

Improve Surface Finish

Your Mirka interface pad distributes sanding pressure more evenly across the abrasive, reducing unevenness. For example, timbers such as oregon and pine have latewood that is much harder than the surrounding earlywood. A hard sanding pad can compress the earlywood rather than cutting it, resulting in a ‘corrugated’ appearance. Using an interface pad will deliver a smooth, even surface.
