Rubio Monocoat Exterior Wood Cleaner is a preparatory cleaner for all types of exterior wood and composites on patios, fences, exterior doors and carports. It removes grey discolouration, green deposits and dirt. New, weathered as well as treated wood must always be cleaned with Rubio Monocoat Exterior Wood Cleaner before an application with one of their exterior oils.

On raw wood, the Exterior Wood Cleaner removes grease that appears naturally in some types of wood. It opens the timber pores which this guarantees that the protective layer penetrates deeper and will last longer.

For timber previously treated with saturation products applied to the wood longer than a year the Exterior Wood Cleaner will remove all residues from previous treatments. If a paint or varnish has been applied, the surface must be sanded, stripped or sand-blasted first.
