Tormek SE-77 Wetstone Grinder Square Edge Jig

Use the SE-77 Square Edge Jig to easily set your wood chisels and plane irons for sharpening to a square profile. This sharpening jig allows you to sharpen your tools repeatedly, easily and precisely every single time. It has been provided with adjustment knobs that can be set with the help of two smaller knobs that allow fine tuning if needed. This can be required if the tool is not exactly square to the stone, is very narrow or if the steel is slightly twisted.

You can also set the jig for a slightly convex shape. Many plane irons can benefit from a slight convex shape. The degree of camber depends on the type of plane and should be approximately the same as the thickness of the shavings. Thanks to the adjustment knobs on the SE-77 jig, you can achieve the optimal convex shape for your tool.
