Who is xTool?

xTool is an industry-leading laser cutter and engraver brand dedicated to making creation simpler and more accessible. With a growing range of innovative products, xTool brings advanced laser technology to your desktop.

Dual Lasers, Multiple Materials

The combination of a 10W diode laser with a wavelength of 455nm and a 2W 1064nm infrared laser greatly expands the range of compatible materials. With the 10W diode laser, the machine is capable of engraving on paper, wood, leather, MDF, stainless steel, some dark opaque acrylic, bamboo, fabric, dark glass, ceramic, jade, marble, shale, cement, brick, plated and painted metal. The diode laser also cuts paper, leather, felt, MDF, 8mm thick wood, and 5mm thick acrylic. The 1064nm infrared laser is ideal for engraving on plastics and metals, such as aluminium, stainless steel, gold, platinum, silver, and many others.

Portability

The xTool's compact size, weighing in at only 4.6 kg, makes the F1 a truly portable device. Handheld engraving allows you to use it not only on the desktop, but literally on the go, greatly enhancing engraving opportunities.

Speed

The F1 achieves an incredible speed of 4000 mm/s, making it one of the fastest laser engravers in the market. These speeds are achieved by advanced galvanometer technology. By precisely rotating and adjusting the galvanometer x-axis and y-axis mirrors at a high speed, the mirrors deflect the laser beam with various angles to the engraved objects in no time. No more wasting time changing the laser head, as switching between the two laser sources is performed seamlessly in the XCS software.

Precision

With an accuracy of 0.00199 mm, the F1 can perform the finest engravings with outstanding quality. The live preview function and the L-shaped retaining frame help precisely place the material and speed up the process, making the machine suitable for batch production. There are two live preview options, showing either a frame or a graphic outline of your design, in a blue laser beam that is not harmful to the eyes.

XCS Software

The xTool F1 comes with the proprietary xTool Creative Space software compatible with Windows and macOS. It supports multiple file formats including SVG, DXF, PNG, JPG, and BMP and provides all the necessary tools for image design and editing as well as material parameters and machine control settings. T he LightBurn software suits complicated projects, supporting more file formats, such as AI, SVG, DXF, PDF, HPGL, PLT for vector files, and PNG, JPEG, BMP, TIFF, TGA, and GIF for raster images.

Smoke Purifier

Laser cutting and engraving can create smoke and fumes. The xTool Smoke Purifier for F1 uses 3-layer filtration including premium activated carbon and HEPA filters to achieve 99.97% purification rate, removing toxic fumes, dust, and unpleasant odours. Operation is super-quiet: the unit is rated at 54dB.

The Slide Extension for long workpieces

The included Slide Extension for the F1 extends the horizontal working length to 400mm perfect for longer pieces or batch processing. Scale rulers along the x and y axis allow for precise positioning and 5 included clamps fix materials in place. The F1 Slide Extension is pre-assembled, simply plug it into the F1 and you're ready to go.

Wireless Connectivity

Save yourself the tangle of unnecessary cables on your workbench by connecting wirelessly. The F1 will connect with any controlling device that is on the same Wi-Fi network, and the setup is a breeze.

Safety Features

The fully enclosed and locked cover prevents damage to the eyes from powerful laser lights and safely contains any toxic odours. With overheat protection and a built-in fan, the F1 is safe for in home use.
